About me
Hello! My name is Daisy Gómez Alvelo, and I am the Pre-K Dual Language teacher at Jarrell Elementary School. I am passionate about early childhood education, bilingual learning, and creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that help every child grow with confidence while developing a love for learning in both English and Spanish.I am a proud Jarrell High School Class of 2014 graduate, and as we like to say, "Once a Cougar, always a Cougar!" I have been part of the Jarrell ISD family since 2019, beginning my career as a substitute teacher while completing my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Texas State University. After four years of substituting, I transitioned into teaching and have now spent the past four years as a Pre-K Dual Language teacher.
